Interns’ Placement And Management
This service involves coordination of the selection and free placement of interns within various institutions and companies.
Below is a pictogram in the stages involved in identifying and selecting candidates to be placed within your firm.
ALL placements made for interns are made FREE of charge. Students from all university and vocational courses are eligible to apply for the program. Placements are made on a first come first serve basis following the principles of merit and non-discrimination.
For purposes of quality assurance and alignment of placement to the youths’ passion, all employers are urged to incorporate our Foundation training on Work Ethics and Professionalism into their workplace orientation. This is conducted by the Oakwood trainers at negotiable rates as described in our price schedule. Click link below to view;
Placement for graduate trainees, temporary staff and full time staff is a premium for pay services. Please contact us on email@example.com for more details.
Additionally, all placements will be with organizations and companies officially partnering with the program, and are relevant and committed to ensuring that each intern and graduate trainee is provided adequate work and coaching in order to gain practical work experience in their respective fields. This core service will also include coordination and tracking of interns’ performance.
In order to be viable for placement, one needs to register and become an Oakwood member. New members need to:
- Complete an online members profile through our website
- Upload all relevant documents to your online membership profile key of which is a signed academic testimonial for student interns or transcript for graduate trainees.
- Pay Employability profiling fee worth UGX 47,500. You will need an ID & calculator during profiling. Only profiled members can be placed. Only members who have been placed at a new internship job will be trained. For more details, follow the link: http://oakwoodinterns.co.ug/how-to-pay/
Note: All Employer organizations and companies officially partnering with the program are committed to ensuring that each intern and graduate trainee is provided adequate work and coaching in order to gain practical work experience in their respective fields. Oakwood will be on hand to support this process where required for example to develop a usable job description, to supervise performance etc.
